I wanted to take the time to write to you, with the hope that you will pass this on to your manager as well, to sincerely thank you and all other staff associated with the wedding reception of Fiona and Philip Mathews held at the Marriott on Saturday. I have attended many wedding receptions at various venues and I have to say that this was by far the best I have attended. The hotel staff were helpful from the moment we arrived on the Friday afternoon and this continued through to all people associated with the wedding reception venue preparation, the food and beverages, the wait staff and everything else. Whilst I understand that we were paying, and should expect good service for a fee, I also understand that this is often not what is delivered. It is a credit to you and your staff that we received such good service. Thank you once again for assisting in making Fiona and Philip's special day even more so and if I can refer the Marriott to anyone as a venue for a wedding I would certainly do so. We just wanted to say a big thank-you for everything you did for our wedding yesterday. Especially answering my never ending number of questions :)! We loved every minute of it and had a great time. Please tell all the service staff we said thank-you, everyone commented how helpful and polite they were. We are very much looking forward to staying at the Sea Temple this week for our honeymoon. Thank you so much for all your help and organising of our wedding this past weekend. We had such a fantastic time and everything went so smoothly! We had lots of comments from family and friends about the restaurant, the food and the hotel itself, we are so pleased with the choice we made to celebrate our wedding at The Marriott Hotel.
